Who knew a mosquito could be so attractive? Looks like a male based on those plumose antennae.

Subjects: Flies, Insects, and Mosquitoes.
Places: Brazil, Caraça Natural Park, Minas Gerais, and South America.
Life Stages: Adult.
Sexes: Male.
Taxa: Class Insecta, Family Culicidae, and Order Diptera.
Colors: Blue and Purple.

    Looks like a Toxorhynchites. No idea which species though. The downward-curving proboscis is characteristic.
