Long-legged Fly with Prey

It wasn’t until I reviewed this shot on my camera and saw the prey, that I realized long-legged flies (family Dolichopodidae) are predatory.

Subjects: Flies, Insects, and Long-legged Flies.
Places: Florida, North America, and United States.
Behaviors: Predation.
Life Stages: Adult.
Taxa: Class Insecta, Family Dolichopodidae, and Order Diptera.
Colors: Green, Orange, and Transparent.
